MhFM’s Religious Extortion - St Luke 14:26
The Dimond Brothers’ business of religion (Most holy Family Monastery - MhFM) subsists entirely from off of solicited donations and on-line bookstore sales supported by their faithful end-times Sedevacantist cyber-congregation.
Commercially speaking, MhFM has become a highly successful and lucrative New York state business.
Religiously speaking, on the other hand, there are 2 opposing views:
From the position of the Roman Catholic Church, the MhFM is a schismatic sect, a non-sanctioned Benedictine community existing outside the governance of the Church, that is owned and operated by two “ipso-facto” excommunicated siblings, Frederick (a.k.a. Brother Michael) and Robert (a.k.a. Brother Peter) Dimond.
From the position of the Dimond Brothers, the MhFM is the last true remnant evangelical Catholic / Benedictine Order on earth, establish by a “divine vocation” received from God by their founder Joseph Natale, representing Christ and leading His Church until His glorious end-times “Second Coming”.
The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, New York, (under Bishop Richard J. Malone) and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), Vatican City, (under Archbishop Luis Francisco Ladaria Ferrer) have chosen, to date, to ignore these "brothers" who they basically refer to as being “a couple of religious Kooks”.
In short, the Roman Church has not taken ecclesiastic action against the Dimonds' schismatic sedevacantist cyber-ministry for the simple reason that they do not recognize them as being Catholic at all (a part of Christ’s Church).
That negligence on the part of the Roman episcopacy, in dealing judiciously with the Dimond Brothers “spiritual abuse”, is regrettable and has allowed the MhFM to flourish on the internet; drawing thousands away from the one, holy Catholic and apostolic Church and into schism.
The Dimond Brothers look upon the Roman Church’s manifested indifference to their heinous evangelical cyber-ministry as a sign, from God, that their deluded theological suppositions and actions are divinely sanctioned.
Dimond Brothers recognize the fact that in order to continue their ministry’s protracted “struggle” against the Roman end-times Antichrist they need money ... lots of money.
As these "brothers" don't have regular day time jobs, they have to rely entirely on "donor funds" to pay the MhFM’s monthly bills (including such things as purchases of new evangelical recreational video games and, of course, the upkeep on their monastery's evangelical basketball court).
In order to keep those luxurious funds pouring into their monastery's coffers, Fred (Brother Michael - MhFM’s unprofessed / unordained Superior) has admonished his growing “base” of the need for their continued evangelical support in soliciting other prospective donors to become a part of their end-times cyber-congregation.
Let's now listen as Fred (Brother Michael) admonishes his "base":
I have found that many of those who even consider themselves to be tradition Catholics and may claim to agree with what we are saying don’t evangelize. They may enjoy listening to true teachings and gain comfort from being formed themselves but they really don’t care much about others. If they did they would try and tell others about one of our interesting videos or our website by simply sending them a link. The link can easily be accompanied by a short message about how it’s crucial to see the information in the video or on the website.
There are many who have relatives, friends, acquaintances at work, etcetera, yet many have still never given almost any of them a link to one of our videos or our website.
If you don’t evangelize at all when you can … you will not save your soul.”
Hold on a minute … is Dimond trying to coerce people into playing major league evangelical “hard-ball” by encouraging them to send “unsolicited e-mails” (spam) to individuals promoting the MhFM, under the subtly tacit threat (extortion) that they risked “losing their souls” if they didn’t?
You betcha! Absolutely!
But, this is not the only instance / example of the Dimond Brothers using the tactics of religious coercion and extortion to try and “trick” their end-times acolytes into doing their bidding.
In January 2018, Bob (Brother Peter) tried to pull a smooth St Luke 14:26 ruse on a young man ... “ordering” him to publicly denounce his "father" in a vile video as a wicked man and a heretic for publishing anti-MhFM material on the internet; stating that his father is: "... probably one of the worst enemies of MhFM."
But this young man, though at religious odds with his father over Sedevacantism, refused to denigrate / dishonor his name in such a cowardly fashion … and thus Dimond chastised him as being evil and wicked for not “hating” his father as expressed in St Luke 14:26. Bob the "self-professed" Benedictine wrote:
"… Thus, you are not worthy of Christ.
Luke 14:26 – ‘If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.’”
This young man’s written refusal to willfully sin against the 4th commandment (Catholic version of the 10 Commandments - “Honor thy father and thy mother”) was lividly opposed by Bob the "Philistine” Benedictine.
“Your response is, we must say in charity, disgraceful. It indicates that you are on the road to damnation, that you are sadly of bad will at this time, and that you love flesh and blood more than God.”
What an evil and heinous thing for a purported true Benedictine to say. But that doesn't stop Bob the “Pious" Benedictine from continuing:
“We do not say that you are on the road to damnation because you have disagreed with us about something, but rather because, in this case, it is manifest that the proper thing to do is expose your dad. In light of what your dad is doing against the Church and the knowledge you have about him, you have an opportunity to help souls by exposing a wicked instrument of Satan who is leading others astray. However, you refuse to expose a man who is demonically and viciously attacking the true Church simply because he is your dad. Yet, you have no problem aggressively attacking other people whom you deem to be evil or heretical. That’s hypocrisy and weakness. If your dad were not such an aggressive opponent of true Catholicism, then it would not be necessary to comment on him. But since he is putting out material that viciously attacks the true Church with lies and heresies, and you have information to show that he is evil, that’s what you should do. But you love flesh, blood and a carnal family more than God and the true spiritual family.”
Wow … you tell me … does that sound like true Benedictine “pastoral care” or the rantings of some deluded 1940’s head of a local chapter of the Nazi Jungen instructing his “youth core” of their responsibility and the importance of denouncing their parents to the Gestapo?
If you're of sound mind and had to choose between "the young man" or "Bob Dimond" as being the one abiding by the laws which govern the true Church in this matter ... then surely you would agree that it's "the young man" who wins hands down.
"Honor thy father and mother: And: He that shall curse father or mother, let him die the death." - St Matthew 15:4
"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in himself." - 1 John, 3:15
And, it's out of charity, that I'd like to inform Bob (Brother Peter) Dimond that in his haste to coerce and extort this young man into doing his wicked bidding; he either overlooked or conveniently left out St. Matthew 10:36-37 which overrides St Luke 14:26, so to speak:
“And a man’s enemies shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not up his cross, and followeth me, is not worthy of me.”
A true Benedictine knows that the law handed down to us by Christ does not allow us to “hate” even our enemies, much less our parents.
And as such ... Bob (Brother Peter) Dimond exposes himself not as a true Benedictine but rather as an unscrupulous religious pretender, an imposter, a charlatan and/or a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
As for the young man and his father? Well, though they still remain at religous odds on certain issues ... no father could love and be more proud of a son than "I" am.
